What does "3 Matches Filmed" mean? At this tournament, we will film 3 of your son's/daughter's full matches and provide you with DVD copies of each unedited match. We shoot all games from what we like to call the "Coaches Perspective" or "Full-Court Perspective." This allows the coach to analyze the player when he/she touches the ball, along with the player’s reactions, movements and court awareness when he/she is not involved in the play. What does "Production of Highlight Reel" mean? With the Gold Package, you get the professional production of a highlight reel using isolation effects in each clip to help a coach zero in on the correct player. Using video from this tournament plus any other video you may have, you will pick the 15-20 clips you like most. What does "Personal Recruiting Consultation" mean? The most important part of the recruiting process is having a plan. In your recruiting consult with a VolleyballRecruits.net team member, we will discuss how to use VolleyballRecruits.net, what schools we suggest you contact based on your academic and athletic profile, what to write when contacting coaches (and when to do it!) and answer any recruiting related questions. The purpose of the recruiting consult is to ensure you get off on the right foot and are doing all of the right things. When the call is over, you will have a plan and not feel lost.

How do I use VolleyballRecruits.net?
Once you register with VolleyballRecruits.net, you spend a few minutes completing your player profile. This is your volleyball resume and you update it whenever your information changes. New grades? New video? New stats? Update your profile! When you want to contact a school, use VolleyballRecruits.net’s Built-in Messaging System. Every NCAA DI, DII, and DIII school in the country is a registered user of VolleyballRecruits.net, allowing you to put yourself in front of your target list of schools in minutes. Is VolleyballRecruits.net hard to use?
We built VolleyballRecruits.net to streamline the recruiting process for high school players and their parents. With thousands of members, we have built a platform that allows even the most technologically challenged person to easily navigate the recruiting process. If you need help using the site, you can just call us and we will help you out.
How do I get a highlight reel produced?
We have built hundreds of reels and have this process down to a science. We have a form you fill out where you identify 15-20 plays you like from the footage you have (we can use any video you have). Let’s say you want to use some clips from a video we shot for you and some clips from video you personally shot; you would simply complete the form, get us access to your video and we have your highlight reel built and on your profile in about a week! Video can be a total pain and we want to make it as easy as possible for you. If you prefer for us to choose your clips for you, we can review your footage and make your clip selections at the rate of $50 / hour.
What matches will you film?
Once you make a purchase, your job is done! We will keep track of when and where your son/daughter is playing and will allocate a professional videographer to film three matches at some point over the course of the tournament. Because volleyball court times seldom run on schedule, it’s very difficult for us to predict exactly which matches we will film. However, if you visit us at the booth on site, we will give you our best guess.
How do you film the matches?
A match is best 2 of 3 sets (or games) so if you son’s/daughter's match goes to three sets, we will film all three sets! All matches are shot from a full court perspective, or what we like to call "The Coach's Perspective". It's important for coaches to see where the ball is coming from and what the result of the ball is for each point. You are always involved in the play regardless if you touch the ball or not. When a college coach watches the footage, the coach is able to evaluate your movement, how well you can read the play, your communication with other players, and your execution when you do touch the ball. You can see some samples of the footage we have shot in the past here. Typically we pause filming to remove the "down-time" (shagging, subs, time-outs, etc.), however if you prefer we let it the camera run, let us know.
When do I get my raw footage from the tournament?
All games will be mailed 7-10 business days after the conclusion of the tournament on DVD format. From there, you can review the raw footage to make your clip selections for your highlight reel (Gold package only), or if you would like to upload your footage elsewhere, you are able to rip the footage from the DVD.
